Get to Know Kristine Vasquez, DMD
Dr. Vasquez has spent the past few years practicing comprehensive dental care in Orlando, FL, but she knew she always wanted to move back to her hometown of Chicago to be closer to family. Today, she looks forward to providing dedicated, patient-centered services as a proud member of the Royal Dental Care team, helping people of all ages learn about the importance of oral health and the benefits of preventive care. Why Did You Decide to Become A Dentist?
Dr. Vasquez grew up with several family members in the medical field, and she always knew from a young age that she would also grow up to help people in that kind of setting. More than anyone else, she was inspired by her cousin, who was a dentist, and this helped her discover that the oral healthcare field was what she was most passionate about.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s in Microbiology and Cell Science, Dr. Vasquez chose to pursue her Master’s in Molecular Medicine from the University of South Florida. She then attended Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, completing her Doctor of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation, she completed an additional General Practice Residency at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, where she received a wide spectrum of advanced dental training, particularly in oral surgery and hospital-based dentistry. She is a current member of the following organizations:

- Florida Dental Association
- Chicago Dental Society
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Outside of work, Dr. Vasquez loves learning about different cultures through traveling, cooking, and baking. She also hangs out with her family, friends, and her beloved dog Lexi! She’s so excited to be back in her hometown and will certainly be spending lots of time exploring and enjoying the Windy City.
