To start getting to know our excellent team, read on below.
Monika, Registered Dental Hygienist
Monika earned her dental hygiene degree from College of DuPage in 2010, and she joined the Royal Dental Care team that same year.
Being a hygienist gives Monika a platform to educate our patients about their oral health and how they can take care of themselves at home, helping them lower their risk for common dental problems. It is very important to her to build relationships with our patients so she can earn their trust and make everyone feel comfortable at their appointments. She truly loves being a hygienist and loves her Royal Dental Care Family.
Outside of the office, she likes spending most of her free time with her two beautiful daughters. She also loves to travel, and one day, she hopes to live in Hawaii.
Magdalena (Magda), Registered Dental Hygienist
Magda has more than six years of experience in the dental field. She started out as a dental assistant and quickly became passionate about dentistry, which eventually inspired her to become a dental hygienist. Magda earned her hygiene degree from William Rainey Harper College in Palatine, excelling in her studies as a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Her favorite part about being a hygienist is building relationships with our patients and making them feel as comfortable as possible at their routine visits.
At home, Magda enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves traveling, going to concerts, and exploring the outdoors by rollerblading or bicycling.
Marta, Registered Dental Hygienist
Marta came to Chicago from her hometown Rzeszow, Poland in 2008. Right after high school, she was certain that she wanted to pursue a career in dentistry. After completing her general education at Oakton Community College, she got accepted into Harper College’s Dental Hygiene Program. She always believed that dental hygiene would be a great avenue for delivering excellent customer service as well as educating people about their dental care. She is adamant about raising awareness of oral health as she finds it fundamental to overall health and wellness.
When she’s not at Royal Dental Care, Marta enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves the great outdoors and particularly enjoys hiking and kayaking. Marta also likes to dance, and for more than 14 years, she has belonged to two different well-known Polish folk dancing groups in both Poland and Chicago. Currently, she has become increasingly interested in Latin social dancing.
Anna, Registered Dental Hygienist
Anna grew up in Poland and came to the US with her family when she was 13. In high school, she started to work as a dental assistant and continued when she went on to college. Inspired by a great dentist and longtime friend, she decided to further her education in the dental field, eventually graduating with her dental hygiene degree in 2011. Today, she uses her skills to volunteer in dental missions and help people in need.
She has been married to her husband Piotr for 15 years, and they have three beautiful children together: Julia, Michal, and Filip. When not working, she loves to spend time in her barn where her daughter trains for horseback riding competitions. She also loves to take long bike trips with her dogs, Fred and Coco, and go fishing with her boys.
Anna, Registered Dental Hygienist
Anna was born and raised in Poland and has been living in the United States since the early 90’s. During her college years, she enjoyed working as a dental assistant, and this is what inspired her to pursue a career in the dental field. In 2001, shortly after graduating from Harper College’s Hygiene Program, she started working as a dental hygienist, and she’s been providing patients with outstanding care ever since. She eventually joined the Royal Dental Care team in 2017 and continues to provide patients with high-quality treatment every day.
Anna is the proud mother of two teenage boys. She enjoys traveling with her husband and children, exploring the great outdoors, and practicing yoga, Zumba, and cross-training. In her spare time, she likes to read and learn about the newest findings in nutrition and natural medicine.
Razan, Registered Dental Hygienist
Razan has worked in the dental field for more than seven years. She started her career as a dental assistant, and she eventually wanted to be able to do more for her patients, so she became a registered dental hygienist by attending Malcom X College’s Dental Hygiene Program, graduating with the highest honors. During her time in school, she was part of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, where she served as a mentor for other students that were interested in the dental field. Today, Razan is always in search of the latest dental information and takes continuing education courses to constantly expand her knowledge and skills.
In her spare time, she enjoys working out and spending time with her family and friends. She also strives to have a positive effect on the community, so she volunteers at the VA Hospital, Goldie’s Place, and Community Care.
Oxana, Registered Dental Hygienist
After graduating from high school, Oxana studied Economics of Tourism in college, but she eventually realized that a hands-on job would suit her much better. Dentistry was always fascinating to her, and after doing some research, she decided to study dental hygiene. She is absolutely thrilled with her career choice as it allows her to educate patients about their oral health as well as assist them in achieving healthy smiles.
Oxana graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at Harper College with multiple awards and honors. She was elected to become a member of the National Dental Hygiene Honor Society, earned the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award for her outstanding academic and clinical achievements, and even received the Highest GPA Award for her graduating class.
In her spare time, Oxana enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends. It’s also worth mentioning that Oxana dedicated 13 years of her life to dance, and her favorite style is ballet due to its elegance and clean lines.
