Cosmetic Dentistry at Royal Dental Care

A beautiful smile makes a powerful initial impression in any situation. Cosmetic dentistry is designed to improve the aesthetic appearance of your teeth.

Unlike general dentistry, which focuses on preventative care, cosmetic dentistry focuses on beautifying your smile by repairing chipped or cracked teeth, straightening crooked teeth, and whitening stained teeth.

At Royal Dental Care, we offer a variety of cosmetic dentistry services to give you a bright smile that you can confidently show off. Using specialized software to design your optimal smile digitally, we utilize the latest technology to show you a preview of your smile. We then tailor the procedures to your specifications until we come up with the service or combination of services that will offer you the stunning results you desire.

Invisalign®

If you’ve always wanted straight teeth but don’t want to deal with traditional braces, Invisalign® may be the answer. Invisalign® can fix nearly all of the same issues that traditional braces can, including teeth with gaps, or that are crooked or overcrowded, and misaligned bites. Gone are the days of “brace face” or “metal mouth”—Invisalign® uses a custom-made appliance to give you an almost invisible way to correct your smile. By using clear aligners that you change at regular intervals, Invisalign® allows you to enjoy all the foods and drinks that you love without restriction or complicated hygiene requirements. Royal Dental Care also boasts a certified Invisalign® Silver Provider, Dr. Agnieszka (Agnes) Kucharska, to ensure you get the professional care you need throughout the Invisalign® process.

Orthodontics

Orthodontics is the specialized branch of dentistry focused on treating bite problems and straightening teeth in both children and adults. While it can be considered cosmetic dentistry, it also addresses issues that may interfere with healthy teeth and jaws. At Royal Dental Care, your orthodontic options include:

Phase 1 Orthodontics

Using Phase 1 Orthodontics, we can guide the formation of your child’s bite and create room for permanent teeth to grow in properly as their jaw develops. Early intervention with Phase 1 Orthodontics often minimizes your child’s need for further orthodontic treatment later in life.

Teeth Straightening and Bite Alignment

Whether you have mild or severe orthodontic issues, braces and clear aligners are designed to address it all. From incorrect bite alignment to crooked teeth, you can work with one of our orthodontic specialists to choose the right solution for you. We offer a wide array of options to fit your individual needs, including:

  • Traditional metal braces
  • Porcelain braces
  • Invisalign® clear aligners
  • Fastbraces®
  • Six Month Smiles®
  • Acceledent®

Veneers and Lumineers

If you’re unhappy with your smile because of minor imperfections like misshapen teeth, discoloration, or chips, there’s an easy way to remedy the problem. Porcelain veneers are designed to fix several types of cosmetic issues by placing a thin shell on the front of your tooth to smooth out and hide any imperfections. At Royal Dental Care, we offer traditional porcelain veneers as well as Durathin veneers so that you can choose the solution that fits your needs.

Dental Crowns and Bridges

In some cases, cosmetic dental problems are the result of damage or decay in the structural part of your teeth. Cavities, trauma, or weakening of your teeth may mean you need a dental crown to help prevent further damage. Dental crowns are custom-fitted to your tooth and cover the surface. They are most commonly used to repair damage, but can also be used cosmetically to improve the appearance of your smile by hiding discoloration or a misshapen tooth.

Crown Lengthening

Many people are unhappy when they smile because they feel their gums cover too much of their teeth. This is commonly known as a “gummy smile” and can affect your confidence. Crown lengthening is a procedure that gently recontours your gums to make your teeth more visible when you smile.

Virtual Smile Design

When you’re considering cosmetic dental procedures, it can be a daunting proposition. There are so many options to choose from, and while you want to improve your smile, you also still want to look natural. Virtual smile design takes the stress and guesswork out of the process. You can virtually view the results of the cosmetic procedures you’re interested in before we perform them, allowing you to add or subtract services to create the perfect smile.
